Get involved

This is a thriving community theatre run by volunteers for the community. As a committee we meet four times a year though there are plenty of other ways to get involved too. We are especially looking for people with IT skills, particularly in social media. If you're able to help maintain our Facebook page or Twitter feed, posting our latest events or responding to comments, we would love to hear from you. Our social media marketing strategy is constantly evolving and if you have the skills to drive this forward, all the better. If it&srquo;s something you are keen to learn we have experts at hand to support you.

We would also welcome people to help with front of house duties, running the bar during performances, advertising and selling tickets. Help with fund raising would also be appreciated. If you could offer help with any of the above, please contact us. You would be making a great contribution to this much loved and much used community theatre.

Testimonials

Do you know how many people from places across the UK who visit the theatre say to us, "How lucky Denbigh is to have a facility like this: I wish we had such a venue." People are envious of us. This gives us a real buzz.

Gwyneth Kensler, Secretary

At the free Vintage Matinee it is nice to see older people, who often don't like coming out after dark, come and socialise before the film and have a good afternoon out at the cinema for £1.00 - the price of a cup of tea and an ice cream.

When the theatre is full and everyone laughs together it&srquo;s a lovely feeling that everyone has left their cares outside and been transported somewhere else for a little while.

I love meeting so many different people at the theatre, both hirers and patrons; it certainly enriches my life. It's good knowing that I am involved in giving the community something which they enjoy and value. There is a wonderful atmosphere and people enjoy their experience at the theatre.
